Book a Tour

Bildmuseet offers free admission and open guided tours every day at 1:00 PM (45 minutes), 2:00 PM (10 minutes), and 3:00 PM (10 minutes). However, groups of over ten people should book a separate slot at least two weeks in advance. This applies for example to art associations, group tours, conferences, businesses, and groups with special needs.

Please submit your booking request here. Booking slots are available on Wednesday to Sunday from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM and for digital tours Tuesday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
If you live far away or for some reason, prefer to explore Bildmuseet's exhibitions from home, we also offer digital tours during office hours.

What are the costs?

During regular weekday opening hours, a group tour costs 1500 SEK, and on weekends, it's 2500 SEK. The gruop tour is approximately 45 minutes long. For groups exceeding 30 people, we provide a price upon inquiry since it may require the involvement of multiple art educators. Large groups, such as conferences and businesses, have the option to book tours outside regular opening hours. We also offer digital tours for 1500 SEK, regardless of number of people. Contact us, and we'll provide more information.

For groups from Umeå University and other adult education institutions as well as groups from associations for people with functional diversities, it is currently free of charge to book a tour at Bildmuseet. The offer applies Tuesday-Friday and groups of at least 10 people. Our school programs are also free of charge, and can be booked here.

And perhaps create together?

Bildmuseet's workshop area is suitable for all groups and can be booked for for creative workshops on weekdays during regular opening hours. A custom workshop led by an art educator takes approximately two hours and costs 2000 SEK. The maximum number of participants is 20.
