Guided Tours

A guided tour offers new insights to the art. Come by yourself or bring a friend, and welcome to combine the lunch tour with a visit at the restaurant. 30-45 minutes guided lunch tours in Swedish of ongoing exhibitions are conducted on Wednesdays to Fridays and Sundays at 13:00. Free admission.

13.00 Lunchtime tour: A 30-45 minute guided tour with a presentation of the exhibitions currently on display. On Saturdays, we give the lunch show in English.

14.00 Short tour: A short guided tour, approx. 10 minutes, of one or a few selected works in the exhibitions.

15.00 Short tour: A short guided tour, approx. 10 minutes, of one or a few selected works in the exhibitions.

Groups over 10 people should instead pre-book their own tour via Bildmuseet’s website

If you live far away or for some reason prefer to prefer to explore Bildmuseet's exhibitions from home, feel free to book a digital tour with one of our museum hosts.

The cost for a digital tour is 1500 kr regardless of number of people, and we will need your booking via email to: bokning.bildmuseet@umu.se two weeks in advance. Suggest a time during Swedish office hours and let us know which of the current exhibitions you would like the tour to focus on.
