The artists, naturally, own the rights to the artworks published on Bildmuseet’s website, and the images may not be published elsewhere without their permission.
Artwork by artists represented by Bildupphovsrätt in Sweden is reproduced on this website with the permission of Bildupphovsrätt in Sweden. If you wish to use such artworks, Bildupphovsrätt in Sweden must be contacted.
For some images, it is the photographers who own the copyright. Umeå University has a specific agreement on how images may be used on our websites and in the press and media, but it is the individual photographer who owns the copyright. Unless otherwise stated in the caption, the exhibition views were taken by the university’s hired photographer, Mikael Lundgren, and in some cases by Polly Yassin, Bildmuseet. The images posted on Bildmuseet’s website may not be used elsewhere without their permission.
