Bildmuseet welcomes all children born in 2012-2014 to an art camp this summer. During an entire week, participants will be in a creative environment, working with art and imagery in various ways, and socializing with other art-interested children. Art experiences will be mixed with personal creations inspired by the exhibitions.
Participants will explore our exciting exhibitions and try their hand at photography, sculpture, drawing, painting, and sound art, among other things. During the week, we will also visit an artist's studio. The week concludes with an exhibition of the participants' work, which will be displayed on Saturday from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, to which their relatives and friends are welcome. The entire week will be supervised by Bildmuseet's art educators.

This summer, Bildmuseet will be showcasing works by 27 artists in four different exhibitions. During the art camp, we will be inspired by the exhibitions Elias Crespin / Chronomorphosis, Eight Degrees / Contemporary Art on the Forest, Umeå Academy of Fine Arts / After Tomorrow at Sunrise, and Swedish Picture Book of the Year / Everybody Eats Everybody.
