In the summer of 2000, Annie Ahl traveled to Hungary, where in the city of Pecs she found an iron fence cluttered with padlocks of varying shapes and sizes, some with inscriptions. The locks had been hung there secretly by loving couples. The photograph of this spontaneously growing monument of love is projected in the exhibition against a curtain of light wicking yarn - fragile and flammable.
