Welcome to an artist talk with author and illustrator Julia Groth, who will discuss her award-winning picture book Where’s My Egg? The conversation will be moderated by museum curator Lisa Lundström.

Where’s my egg? wonders a handsome hen whose egg has suddenly sprouted legs and wandered off blindly. It has tumbled into a hole in the ground, making its way through dark tunnels, encountering both friendly and fearsome creatures: a badger, a group of rabbits, a snake, fox cubs and a lizard… Meanwhile, the hen searches anxiously above ground.
Julia Groth (b. 1988) is based in Järvsö, Sweden. She holds a bachelor's degree in architecture from the Umeå School of Architecture, a master's degree in design from HDK in Gothenburg, and has studied printmaking at Östra Grevie Folkhögskola. The exhibition Swedish Picture Book of the Year / Where’s My Egg? is produced by Bildmuseet.
