Bildmuseet’s exhibition halls are large and airy. But to further minimise the risk of the spread of Covid-19, we have adapted our operations. To help you feel safe during your visit, we are taking precautionary measures and would ask you as a visitor to help.
What can you do as a visitor?
Stay at home if you have even the slightest symptom.
Follow the museum hosts' instructions on site.
Show consideration for other visitors by keeping a safe distance.
Wash your hands regularly with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
Our measures to make your visit safe
We count the number of visitors on site and in each of the exhibition halls, and make sure we do not let in too many people at once.
As a visitor, you are instructed to move through the museum building following a specific route, and are directed to special entrances and exits.
There are extra museum hosts on site, not only to tell you about the art, but also to help ensure a safe museum visit and make sure that there is no crowding.
Events and activities on site are cancelled for the time being, so that we do not have people gathering in groups. Tours, exhibition openings, and school and family programmes are instead being offered online.
During opening hours, we do not accept booked groups or large groups that arrive without an advance booking. Such groups are instead offered an opportunity to book a slot outside opening hours.
Increased frequency of cleaning in the museum building. Door handles, handrails, lift buttons and other exposed areas are being cleaned with extra care.
Hand sanitiser is available at several places in the museum.
