In connection with the exhibition Art and Truth-Telling, a public conversation is organised that takes its point of departure in the question: What is Kramfors Sámi name?

The conversation centres on why Sámi presence in Kramfors today is so little visible—both in public space and in historical narratives. For example, there are no signs in Sámi, and no Sámi name for Kramfors appears in the official place-name register. What does it mean when a name is missing, and how is this connected to the absence of a visible Sámi history?
The audience is invited to take part in a collective search for Kramfors Sámi name together with cultural workers Mats Jonsson and Elme Ämting.
