Time Saturday 13 April, 2024 at 12:00 - 17:00
Place Bildmuseet

In our time, we have become accustomed to rapid streams of images, and this might also affect how we experience art. But what happens if we look closely and give the artworks time? On Saturday, 13th April – Slow Art Day – Bildmuseet highlights the slow art experience, in collaboration with art museums and galleries around the world. At the same time, we seize the opportunity to highlight the importance of guided tours. Welcome to slow art experiences for both adults and children!

In all tours on this day, we use the slow art method. It offers a chance to approach the artworks in a somewhat different manner. The tours focus on a few selected artworks, particularly on the hypnotically suggestive exhibition Elias Crespin / Chronomorphosis.

13:00 Lunch tour in English (approx. 45 min)
14:00 Family tour (approx. 30 min)
14:00 Encounter with an artwork (approx. 15 min)
15:00 Encounter with an artwork (approx. 15 min)

Limited number of seats, no pre-registration or prior knowledge is required. Free admission as always.
