Artist Malin Östberg will be present in her art installation, where she, through performance, shifts between distance and connection with visitors, inviting them into an exploratory process.
The work Seeking Male Pen Pal is based on the story of Sigge — the artist’s father’s uncle — who ran a revue theater in Jokkmokk and left behind fragmented traces of his life in the form of photographs, newspaper clippings, and texts. In her work, Malin Östberg searches for kinship beyond blood ties.
