Thank you for tonight!

NINA MANGALANAYAGAM / BLANK PAGES
Working across photography, film and sound installation, Nina Mangalanayagam explores questions of belonging and complex identities, often through an autobiographical approach. At Bildmuseet, she presents new works examining Sweden’s colonial past and its relevance today.

ANNELI FURMARK / YOU ARE THE CENTRE OF THE EARTH
Anneli Furmark’s works, comics as well as painting, often explore the ways people relate to one another, to the landscape, and to place. Her narratives frequently unfold in northern settings, with particular attention to houses and built environments.

SUMIE
Sumie is a Swedish singer-songwriter and artist who has been creating intimate, emotionally resonant folk music since her debut in 2008. On her new album Stardust In Valleys, she explores fragility, loss and memory through deeply personal songs shaped by warmth, reflection and a sense of presence.

Creative workshop: Drawing comics
Welcome to create comics inspired by places and memories. Which places have left a lasting impression on you? What events, surroundings, buildings, or people do you associate with them? Create your own comic in book or folded format, or draw directly on the tables and contribute to the collective comics that will emerge throughout the evening.
